چکیده

The present work describes convenient synthesis of the novel Schiff bases 4, 5 and 6 by reaction each previously synthesized quinazolinones 1, 2 3 with p-methoxybenzaldehyde. [2+2] Cycloaddition Reaction former within phenylisothiocyanate affording azatedine derivatives 7 8. Also, quinazolines 1 could be reacted α-bromoglucose tetraacetate giving peracetylated N-glycosides 9 10 which were then deacetylated to afford N-glycosylated 11 12 respectively. On other hand, Dapsone was p-methoxyacetophenone 4-[(4-aminophenyl) sulfonyl]-N-[(1E)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethylidene]aniline 15 was, in turn, 4-chloro-2-ethoxyquinazoline 16 base 17. latter 2-furoyl chloride 18. structures confirmed IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, MS elemental analysis. antimicrobial activity for these compounds outline, moderate observed new quinazoline proved possess marked against E. coli, S. aureus C. albicans. strong has nearly most .

Synthesis and antitumor activity evaluation of quinazoline derivatives bearing piperazine-1-carbodithioate moiety at C4-position.

A series of quinazoline derivatives bearing piperazine-1-carbodithioate moiety at the C4-position were synthesized using piperidine and 1-bromo-3-chloropropane as starting materials via eight steps. Final compounds 8a-q and 9a-i were evaluated for their antiproliferative activity against human lung cancer A549, breast adenocarcinoma MCF-7, and colorectal cancer HCT-116 cell lines. The results s...

Synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of In(III) complexes anchored by DOTA-like chelators bearing a quinazoline moiety.

Following previous studies with a DOTA-like bifunctional chelator (H(3)L1) containing an ethylenic linker between the macrocycle backbone and a quinazoline pharmacophore, we synthesized and fully characterized a congener macrocyclic ligand (H(3)L2) having a longer, five-carbon spacer for the linkage of the quinazoline moiety. Both H(3)L1 and H(3)L2 were used to prepare indium(III) complexes aim...

Synthesis and In Vitro Antimicrobial Evaluation of New 1,3,4-Oxadiazoles Bearing 5-Chloro-2-methoxyphenyl Moiety

A series of new 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives, 4(a-h), containing 5-chloro-2-methoxy benzohydrazide moiety were synthesized by the reaction of 5-chloro-2-methoxybenzoate with different aromatic carboxylic acids. These newly synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, (1)H NMR, mass spectra, and also by elemental analysis. All the newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antibac...

Novel Quinazoline Derivatives Bearing A Sulfonamide Moiety As Anticancer and Radiosensitizing Agents

Quinazoline derivatives posses many types of biological activities and have recently been reported to show substantial antitumor activity in vitro and/or in vivo. There is a variety of mechanisms for their anticancer activity. The present work reports the possible utility of methyl anthranilate in the synthesis of some new quinazoline derivatives, bearing a substituted sulfonamide moiety. All t...
